BioLayout Express^3D is made freely available and distributed under a GNU public license.

Windows Platforms

• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 Windows XP/Vista/7* (Recommended download).
• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 Windows XP/Vista/7 with the JRE bundle.

*32 bit fast native compilation installer. This package is termed as FREEWARE under the license terms of the Excelsior JET native code compiler.

Mac OS X Platform

• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 Mac OS X 10.5/10.6/10.7 (Leopard/Snow Leopard/Lion) installer (dmg).
• BioLayout Express^3D Update 5 Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Java 1.5 compatibility installer (dmg).

Online Deployment & Installation For All Platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 32/64 bit universal platform version with online deployment and installation through WebStart. Note: Program opens with an example dataset.

• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 64 bit only universal platform version with online deployment and installation through WebStart. Note: Program opens with an example dataset & will only run on 64bit OSs with 64bit browsers & JVMs installed.

All Platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac OS X)

• BioLayout Express^3D Version 2.2 non-installer 32/64 bit universal platform version (.jar package). Please use this script file to start the application and set the memory requirements. Needs the 1.6 JVM to be installed on the host machine. For advanced users.
